Snake River Music Gardens' equation is: natural resources + culture = economy

The video below introduces the self-reliant culture of America in the 1950's. Many--but not all--American families have lost this quality of self-reliance, taking care of life's necessities. We are working to restore self-reliance to American culture by growing our own food, cooking our meals from "scratch" using natural ingredients, making music, doing fiber arts, composting our food scraps and garden trimmings, building soil, and many other practices. Our aim is to educate upcoming generations in the skills we have mastered.

As you watch this video, ask yourself, what hand skills do I have?
